The amazing opening strike beat off competition from Dele Alli (Spurs v Watford), Roberto Firmino (Stoke City v Liverpool), Xherdan Shaqiri (Stoke City v Hull City) and Leroy Sane (Southampton v Man City) to win the honor for the second time this season.

Quite a lot of beautiful goals was scored and the nominated, The Sam Clucas (Hull City v Watford), Philippe Coutinho (Liverpool v Crystal Palace) and Diego Costa (Chelsea v Southampton)  but ultimately missed out on the award.

Chelsea will be in action this weekend against west brom and a win for the blues will ensure that their lift the premier league for second time in three years.
