The good thing about having Google account is that you can use the username and password for your Google Account to sign into Gmail and the other Google products such as YouTube, Google Play, and Google Drive.

So how do you start?

1. First, visit the Google Account creation page.


2. The screen below will open.


3. Fill in your name, chose a username, and create a password. You will also fill in your date of birth, Gender and Mobile phone.


4. Click the NEXT STEP button to complete. It is that simple.

5.  After you've created your Google Account, you can use it to sign in to Gmail on your computer, phone, or

tablet. The screen below will appear. You must select you device type.

6.  Click Go to Gmail login



One of the challenges you could have is that the username you want is already taken by another person. In fact, you will not be able to get a Gmail address if the following occurs.

• The username you chose was used by someone in the past, and they deleted their account.


• The exact username you choose is already being used by another person


• The username you requested is very similar to an existing username. For example, if champion@gmail.com already exists, you can't use champlion@gmail.com.


• The username you chose is already reserved by Google to prevent spam or abuse.
